Until Thursday we will meet them as our guests and partners. On Monday they will meet staff and pupils at school. They will walk around, and they will watch - together with all of us, the "Terje Vigen-story". This is Henrik Ibsen's poem - with a "semi-historical" theme from the area around Grimstad. "Terje Vigen" is presented by our 7. grade. After school we will go to Hesnesřya by boat, visiting the historical area where Terje Vigen may have lived. On Tuesday our guests will go to the beaches of Groos together with 5. and 7. grade. They will study the marine life, and see what we do on "outdoor school" (ute-skole). In the afternoon our 6. grade will present a puppet-play from Torbjorn Egners "Town of Kardemomme" (Kardemomme-by). On Wednesday our guests and 6. grade will go to the activity-park in Kristiansand, to look at "Kardemomme-by" and animals. We will also discuss educational matters these days, with a special fokus on "the pleasure of reading". And adults and children will be together, just for fun...!
